About the Maker
Bohemia crystal has been world-renowned since the 1600s, when glass-makers discovered that a combination of potash and chalk made a more resilient glass than the Italian standard. Archeological excavations have discovered glass fabrication sites that date back to 1250, while currently the glass can be found in Rome's Teatro dell'Opera, Versailles, and St. Petersburg, amongst other prestigious institutions.
