The Diversity of the Canadian Landscape

Song of the Week - A Case of You by Joni Mitchell

We could undoubtably write a lot about Joni, but sometimes it's best to shut up and let the artist speak for themselves. A quote from Joni about this introspective song, taken from Mojo Magazine, 1994:

"I wanted to be capable of being responsible for my own errors. If there was friction between me and another person, I wanted to be able to see my participation in it so I could see what could be changed and what could not. That is part of the pursuit of happiness. You have to pull the weeds in your soul when you are young, when they are sprouting, otherwise they will choke you."
The Long Form - The Great Canadian Landscape

We've arrived - it's full-fledged election season. We're gathering our political thoughts and feelings, and while we're very passionate voters, we're just not ready to come off of the high of summer and dive into dirty politics. As a little reprieve, we're going to take you on a photo essay road trip through Canada.

It's important to remember and reflect upon the visual beauty and diversity of this country's landscape - It's the one thing all Canadians can agree on. This is our pursuit of happiness.
